Sheltered Youth explores the sheltering from perceived threats, both ideological and physical that seems to be increasingly pervasive in society. The Piece uses two figures that represent a mother and child child. The child reaches out while dragging itself along the base showing its want to be free.
This piece is currently installed in Chicago’s Lincoln park.
